Membership Renewals
We would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the last year, in what has been a difficult time for everyone. It is that time of year when we are asking for membership renewals.
Please could you transfer fees directly to the bank using the details below:

Membership is £10 for individual members, £15 for household membership. Please email hampshiredormousegroup@gmail.com to let us know you’ve paid. If payment is not received by 1st March 2021, we will assume you no longer wish to continue your membership.
Anyone who joined the group from 1st July 2020 does not need to renew their membership until next year.

Dormouse Ecology and Conservation Course Postponed.
Unfortunately, given the current situation with COVID-19, we’ve made the decision to postpone the Dormouse Ecology and Conservation course, which was due to take place on 20-21st April.
We will hope to run this course again later in the year, and will keep you updated when we have a new date.

Dormouse Ecology and Conservation Training Course
Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st April 2020, 6pm-9pm. Sparsholt College, Winchester.
This popular training course is split over two evenings, and is ideal for those with either a general interest in Dormice or those looking to work towards their dormouse licence. The course includes an introduction to relevant legislation, dormouse identification and life cycles, as well as survey techniques, practical habitat management and the National Dormouse Monitoring Programme.

Members Trip to Briddlesford Copse, I.O.W. Thursday 18th July 2019
This trip is for Hampshire Dormouse Group members, to the PTES reserve Briddlesford Copse, on the Isle of Wight. This is a great opportunity to get some experience in checking dormouse boxes and potentially handling dormice if they are present on the day.
Cost (including transport from Cowes): £30.
