Members posts – How to access ‘protected’ posts
Members events may include surveys that require volunteers to be covered by the groups’ insurance, which you receive as part of your membership with the group.
Posts with information for members such as members events are placed on the Hampshire Dormouse Group blog and appear as ‘Protected‘.
To find out the details of the members event simply enter your members password.
If you haven’t yet received your members password please let us know by requesting your password on the Members area page.
Training Event 2015
Dear All,
I can now confirm that the Hampshire Dormouse Group 2015 training event will take place over two evenings on the 2nd and 3rd of March between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. The course will be a workshop format and cover the following topics over the two evenings: dormouse ecology, legislation and conservation, survey methods, habitat management and training for a dormouse licence.
The venue will be the EPR offices in Micheldever (thank you again to EPR for hosting!).
A copy of the programme will follow. The course is open to both HDG members and non-members.
There will be a nominal charge of £15 for HDG members and £20 for non-members which will go to the HDG to fund future dormouse activities.

Annual General Meeting 2015
The Hampshire Dormouse Group AGM will be on Wednesday 28th January 2015 at 7.30 at the EPR Offices in Micheldever. We have invited Tristan Norton, the Senior Ecologist in the Ecology team at Hampshire Council, to talk at the AGM. Either he, or one of his team, will give us an overview on how the council considers dormouse mitigation proposals and he will highlight some recent case studies.
It is important that we have a good attendance at the AGM, you will be updated on what we have achieved and what we would like to do next year; the committee needs to be voted in and we have a speaker. An Agenda will be circulated closer to the date.
